Who is ORNL FCU?

We are a not-for-profit, member-owned credit union serving members since 1948 with 28 branches throughout East Tennessee including one branch in Morristown. We are community-focused with a charter that overlaps the four counties that LCU serves.

ORNL FCU offers members 24/7 call center support and industry leading Online and Mobile Banking services.

Frequently Asked Questions

There are three major steps:
1) Regulatory approval has been received.
2) Following regulatory approval, members must vote to approve the merger. The voting period will run from March 7-April 23.
3) After members approve, LCU and ORNL FCU will communicate a detailed plan that ensures every LCU member experiences a smooth transition and access to all of the service benefits. That process is expected to be complete in late 2024.
For servicing of all your accounts, you will continue to visit Lowland CU branches, call the Lowland CU contact center or use Lowland's Online Banking. All Lowland CU branches will be open the same hours and staffed by the same friendly personnel that you’re used to.

Please note: Until your accounts are converted to ORNL FCU’s systems later this fall, our representatives at ORNL FCU branches and our Contact Center are not able to service your Lowland CU accounts.
