• Ask you for verification codes, usernames, passwords, or PINs.

   

• Direct you to purchase gift cards or transfer money using Venmo, Cash App, or other payment services.
  

Fraudsters are sophisticated. They are able to spoof the ORNL FCU phone number to make it look like the call is coming from us. Just remember, if someone is requesting sensitive information from you by phone, email, or text message, hang up the phone and DO NOT REPLY.
